Than Sadet — the waterfall of kings

Just one bay south of Thong Nai Pan lies Than Sadet — “the royal stream”. King Chulalongkorn (Rama V), Thailand's most beloved monarch, visited these waterfalls more than ten times between 1888 and 1909 and had his royal monogram carved into the rock. Later kings followed in his footsteps. Today you can hike to the falls through the national park — a short scooter ride from your terrace.
